Billie Eilish shows us who sings glorious

who sings glorious
In recent times, one of the most listened-to songs is 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER" performed by Billie Eilish. It's more than normal for us to pause for a moment and focus on it

From the very beginning I must say that the title of the song comes from the English expression “birds of a feather flock together” and is a common metaphor to highlight the similarity and closeness .

What I like most about the lyrics of this song is the fact that the verses are left to the listener interpretation. The performer doesn't impose anything, doesn't give any judgment, no verdict.

Everything is left to the listener's discretion, to listener interpretation based on their mood, desires, goals, and dreams.

I don't know if the author deliberately thought about this, although maybe she did. In any case, it's interesting that by listening to this song, if you let your imagination run wild, you can anticipate the continuation of the verses. That is, you can imagine how you would like or consider it normal for the verses to continue.

So, this song, depending on how you think of it/how you expect it to sound, can either be a cute and fun love song, or a chilling "love note" from someone too controlled by sentiment.

Most often, however, listening to this song, I've had the bittersweet sensation of a story that doesn't know how it began, but especially how it ends. I believe it's not at all about the desire to be together forever with your partner, but more about self-acceptance in this relationship.  But not acceptance in the sense described and pleaded for in the song 'But Daddy I Love Him'. On the contrary, as a phenomenon that happens, it is welcomed precisely because it happens and is valued precisely for that.

See that in one part, Billie says,

"Can't change the weather, might not be forever."

In my way of thinking, this means that the relationship could end because that's life!! I know there are a lot of people who thought they would stay with their partner forever, but then the relationship ends.

But Billie says exactly what I intuit, namely:

"But if it's forever, it's een better."

meaning that if it never ends, then it's even better, and obviously, it's nice to have that forever with that person, rather than having a final relationship.

And, dear reader, don't be surprised, life never ends, it just continues in another form and appearance. Even Billie tells us so:

"I knew you in another life,
You had that same look in your eyes,
I love you, don't act so surprised
."

Don't be surprised. That's life even among birds of a feather.

Like all great love songs, it doesn't matter who "Birds of a Feather" was written about. It's up to the listener interpretation to decide, but Billie is the one who sings glorious.

Hit me hard and soft - Skinny girls perform isolated vocals

hit me hard and soft
With no doubt, “SKINNY” is one of the many songs Billie Eilish has released regarding skinny body image.

In previous works, she expresses insecurities about her appearance and the pressure to meet certain standards. For example, in tracks like “idontwannabeyouanymore” from her 2017 EP Don’t Smile at Me. Additionally, in “All the Good Girls Go to Hell” from her 2019 album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, and – “Overheated” from her 2021 album Happier Than Ever she delves into societal pressures and the pursuit of perfection, which also intersect with skinny body image released regarding concerns .

In an interview with Alt 98.7 and iHeartMedia, when asked if the song was written first or if the song as added later as the opening of the album, Billie Eilish explains her & Finneas' songwriting process:

We had like pieces of stuff. Funnily enough, [“LUNCH”] was the first song that we wrote in full. We had ideas of stuff and the verse of “CHIHIRO” and the chorus of “LUNCH” and a verse of “BITTERSWEET,” but nothing was real and it didn’t feel – we didn’t really know what we were gonna use, and then we wrote all of “SKINNY” and that’s like the first full song that we wrote. As soon as we wrote it, we were like ‘Yeah, that’s the opening track.’ Hit me hard and soft!

If I may have an opinion. this song is a reflection on Billie’s insecurities. Throughout the track, she explores various themes such as falling in love for the first time – likely with a woman – internal versus external perception, isolated vocals, and anxieties about aging.

"Am I acting my age now?
Am I already on the way out?
When I step off the stage, I'm a bird in a cage
I'm a dog in a dog pound
And you said I was your secret
And you didn't get to keep it"

And if things got out of control, the world found out and the secret is on everyone's lips and being pointed at. In fact, if you want to keep a secret, you must also hide it from yourself, because three persons may keep a secret, if two of them are dead.

"And the internet is hungry for the meanest kinda funny
And somebody's gotta feed it"

But things shouldn't be taken too seriously; that's how it is when it happens for the first time, especially since you can be happy not necessarily because of love but for other reasons, like being so skinny, for example. - skinny girls thinking!

"People say I look happy
Just because I got skinny"

The conclusion comes naturally: any woman is beautiful if she's skinny and can poke you with her bones. Hit me hard and soft.

"But the old me is still me and maybe the real me
And I think she's pretty"

There is no truth saying 'beauty comes in all shapes and sizes' And I think Billie reaches this conclusion at the end of the song as well.

"Oh, do you still cry?
Still cry
Cry
I nеver did you wrong (Never did you wrong)
And my (Oh), my patiеnce is gone (Is gone)"

The truth is skinny girls look good in clothes, never naked chicks. I'm not going to dinner with somebody who eats like a bird, nor do I want to eat like a bird. Its important to remind young women, 'Listen, even skinny girls have cellulite, even Billie Eilish has cellulite, and what you see in photos isn't totally real.'
