Last Kiss (Taylor's Version) a Heartbreaking Letter

heartbreaking letter

"Last Kiss" was featured on Swift's Speak Now album and is rumored to have been written about her relationship with ex Joe Jonas.

The song is not just a simple nostalgic one, it is a pure declaration of love. The second group is one of the best romantic moments, how can you say I love you without saying I love you.

"I do recall now the smell of the rain
Fresh on the pavement, I ran off the plane
That July 9th, the beat of your heart
It jumps through your shirt, I can still feel your arm
s"

I think it's her saddest and purest song of heartbreak. As in almost all others, there is at least a little anger, assertiveness or hope, and this is completely defeated. From my point of view, Last Kiss is truly one of best songs of Taylor Swift. It's so heartbreaking. I really resonate with “And I feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe”, and also with

"You can plan for a change in weather and time
But I never planned on you changin' your mind"

I listened to this song on REPEAT for about 6 months after my last breakup because it really felt like it was us and everything I was going through at the time. It was comforting in a way.

I absolutely love Last Kiss! It's one of the most picturesque and heartbreaking songs... Every line is so broken and desolate...

"I never thought we'd have a last kiss
I never imagined we'd end like this
Your name, forever the name on my lips

simply sums up the moment when you think someone will be with you forever and then he doesn't want you anymore and there's nothing you can do to miss him... Going through a break-up you feel all of these different things. You feel anger, and you feel confusion, and frustration.  This heartbreaking letter  is so raw.
