We burn this city and go o find graduation ribbon

school life
Finishing high school is an important stage in a young person's life. From this moment on, life starts anew, and everyone can decide how they want to continue it.

The most common choices are either to continue studying or to explore the job market.

For some, however, graduation option means saying goodbye to almost everything you’ve ever known from school. From here on, a different kind of school begins—the school of life. Then, let's sing 'Burn this city' with Cartel

Most often, this school of life involves leaving home or being away from family. And it’s not a simple thing. From living on your own for the first time to meeting completely new people, everything is entirely different from home.

Many of your dreams first seem impossible, then improbable, and finally, with enough willpower, they quickly become inevitable. But take care, you must do something, as if you're on the right path, you'll get passed if you sit still.

However, this doesn’t mean you and your friends from your hometown can't go out with a major bang that will leave lasting memories as you all head towards new adventures. It’s a group life, a gang life that wants to continue the one spent on rooftops with graduation speech in mind.

"Cause our days were numbered by nights on too many rooftops.
They said we'd burn so bright.
We burn this city and go
."

  • Your motivation determines how much you are willing to do.
  • Your attitude determines how well you do it within graduation speech.
  • In the end, you can shoot for the moon because even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

Taking life by the horns and shaking it well is also an graduation option. Although this may scare many parents since it doesn't follow the usual, traditional path, taking a year or two off to travel, work, or achieve another project is a dream that many young people cherish.

"There's no such thing (no there's never too much).
And we were so, so sure, oh we never had a doubt.
Now we're counting days to getting out.

We were elemental, took down to bare essentials.
Who knew we'd get so far?
"

The nightlife on rooftops appears as a recurring theme. There, in fact, all dreams and hopes towards a world awaiting to meet a new generation were born. There, bags were packed, and decisions were made about what to take and what to leave behind.

"Pack our bags and get away, they're catching on to us.

Cause our days were numbered by nights on too many rooftops.
They said we're wasting our lives,
Oh at least we know, that if we die, we lived with passion.
They said we'd burn so bright.
We burn this city, and go
."

And now at parting, take my advice with you as a graduation speech. Life is full of unpredictability and dangerous trials. Many times you will not succeed. But it doesn't matter how many times you fall, what matters related to graduation option is having the courage and strength to get back up every time.

And do remember: Cause our days were numbered by nights on too many rooftops

Billie Eilish shows us who sings glorious

who sings glorious
In recent times, one of the most listened-to songs is 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER" performed by Billie Eilish. It's more than normal for us to pause for a moment and focus on it

From the very beginning I must say that the title of the song comes from the English expression “birds of a feather flock together” and is a common metaphor to highlight the similarity and closeness .

What I like most about the lyrics of this song is the fact that the verses are left to the listener interpretation. The performer doesn't impose anything, doesn't give any judgment, no verdict.

Everything is left to the listener's discretion, to listener interpretation based on their mood, desires, goals, and dreams.

I don't know if the author deliberately thought about this, although maybe she did. In any case, it's interesting that by listening to this song, if you let your imagination run wild, you can anticipate the continuation of the verses. That is, you can imagine how you would like or consider it normal for the verses to continue.

So, this song, depending on how you think of it/how you expect it to sound, can either be a cute and fun love song, or a chilling "love note" from someone too controlled by sentiment.

Most often, however, listening to this song, I've had the bittersweet sensation of a story that doesn't know how it began, but especially how it ends. I believe it's not at all about the desire to be together forever with your partner, but more about self-acceptance in this relationship.  But not acceptance in the sense described and pleaded for in the song 'But Daddy I Love Him'. On the contrary, as a phenomenon that happens, it is welcomed precisely because it happens and is valued precisely for that.

See that in one part, Billie says,

"Can't change the weather, might not be forever."

In my way of thinking, this means that the relationship could end because that's life!! I know there are a lot of people who thought they would stay with their partner forever, but then the relationship ends.

But Billie says exactly what I intuit, namely:

"But if it's forever, it's een better."

meaning that if it never ends, then it's even better, and obviously, it's nice to have that forever with that person, rather than having a final relationship.

And, dear reader, don't be surprised, life never ends, it just continues in another form and appearance. Even Billie tells us so:

"I knew you in another life,
You had that same look in your eyes,
I love you, don't act so surprised
."

Don't be surprised. That's life even among birds of a feather.

Like all great love songs, it doesn't matter who "Birds of a Feather" was written about. It's up to the listener interpretation to decide, but Billie is the one who sings glorious.

But Daddy I Love Him Won the Voice Singing

defying conservative community
Sunday evening in Lisbon, 2024, May 26. "Thank you so much for coming to this show,” Taylor Swift said. "I’ll seriously never forget the way you treated us, the overwhelming love and passion and hands in the air and dancing and how you screamed every lyric"

The pop start referred to the song "But Daddy I Love Him." Swift uses the character's defiance to explore themes of individuality and the pressures of conforming to societal norms

Let's see what's about. Fans agree the lyrics tell the story of a young woman defying her conservative community and her family's wishes by choosing a partner they do not accept.

"Now I'm running with my dress unbuttoned
Screaming "But Daddy I love him!"
I'm having his baby
No, I'm not, but you should see your faces
I'm telling him to floor it through the fences
No, I'm not coming to my senses
I know he's crazy but he's the one I want
"

Girl's rebellion is more dramatized in the chorus, where she provocatively claims to be pregnant and urges her lover to 'floor it through the fences,' symbolizing a literal and metaphorical escape.

And the song continues, its lyrics saying that it is easy and simple to go from rejection to acceptance, as it is the first step towards building a more inclusive and compassionate world.

The repeated lines

"You ain't gotta pray for me" and "It's my choice" emphasize her self-assurance and the joy she finds outside the conventional paths prescribed by her community.

"But you –
Should see your faces
But oh my God you should see your faces
"

The greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance.

Acceptance doesn’t mean you agree with, condone, or give up. It simply means you stop fighting reality, it is the foundation for constant growth and positive change

What Are we learn rom here?

Acceptance does not mean resignation; it means understanding that something is what it is and that there’s got to be a way through it.

Taylor Swift's song 'But Daddy I Love Him' is a vivid narrative of youthful rebellion, love, and the struggle for personal autonomy against societal expectations. As as said above, the lyrics tell the story of a young woman defying her conservative community and her family's wishes by choosing a partner they disapprove of

Hands in trends: Am I the Greatest?

thinks biggest adventure
I have a friend who thinks the biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams

This is my filling when I know Billie Eilis says "The Greatest" is a "heavy" song, and a challenging one to sing. "I love that song so much".She tells she's both excited and nervous to perform this song live - and did it for the first time at an album listening party in LA some time ago

"The count-in happened and I was sitting there on the edge of the stage in front of this tiny crowd and I was like 'woah I’ve never done this one before' and it’s really one of my hardest," she says when thinks biggest adventure.

"I literally performed it the other day and cried after."

Let's take a closer look at this song to see what to wear

What excites me is that the singer offers her nudity without inhibitions

"Man, am I the greatest?
My congratulations
All my love and patience
All my admiration
All the times I waited
For you to want me naked
Made it all look painless
Man, am I the greatest?"

The question seems extremely naive to me, if it doesn't actually hide an extreme perversity. The singer acknowledges that even though she was naked, she stayed up all night next to the desired guy without bothering him.

Then, I ask myself, in my innocence, why was she naked? What to wear?

"I'm trying my best
To keep you satisfied
Let you get your rest
While I stayed up all night"

Probably it was very hot in the room, otherwise, I see no explanation to guess what to wear. Moreover, things seem simple and already established between the parties.

"Doing what's right
Without a reward
And we don't have to fight
When it's not worth fighting for (Fighting for), mm"

[Pre-Chorus]
"And you don't wanna know (Know)
What I would've done (Done), hm
Anything at all
Worse than anyone
Mm, ooh"

The most important thing is to give as much energy to your dreams as you do to your fears

The additions in the background, like "mm," "oh," "ooh," "hm," are also very suggestive. They do nothing but confirm that many of life’s failures occurs whwn people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

In the end, the question remains, followed by the necessary explanations

"Man, am I the greatest?
God, I hate it
All my love and patience
Unappreciated
You said your heart was jaded
You couldn't even break it
I shouldn't have to say it
You could've been the greatest"

Hit me hard and soft - Skinny girls perform isolated vocals

hit me hard and soft
With no doubt, “SKINNY” is one of the many songs Billie Eilish has released regarding skinny body image.

In previous works, she expresses insecurities about her appearance and the pressure to meet certain standards. For example, in tracks like “idontwannabeyouanymore” from her 2017 EP Don’t Smile at Me. Additionally, in “All the Good Girls Go to Hell” from her 2019 album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, and – “Overheated” from her 2021 album Happier Than Ever she delves into societal pressures and the pursuit of perfection, which also intersect with skinny body image released regarding concerns .

In an interview with Alt 98.7 and iHeartMedia, when asked if the song was written first or if the song as added later as the opening of the album, Billie Eilish explains her & Finneas' songwriting process:

We had like pieces of stuff. Funnily enough, [“LUNCH”] was the first song that we wrote in full. We had ideas of stuff and the verse of “CHIHIRO” and the chorus of “LUNCH” and a verse of “BITTERSWEET,” but nothing was real and it didn’t feel – we didn’t really know what we were gonna use, and then we wrote all of “SKINNY” and that’s like the first full song that we wrote. As soon as we wrote it, we were like ‘Yeah, that’s the opening track.’ Hit me hard and soft!

If I may have an opinion. this song is a reflection on Billie’s insecurities. Throughout the track, she explores various themes such as falling in love for the first time – likely with a woman – internal versus external perception, isolated vocals, and anxieties about aging.

"Am I acting my age now?
Am I already on the way out?
When I step off the stage, I'm a bird in a cage
I'm a dog in a dog pound
And you said I was your secret
And you didn't get to keep it"

And if things got out of control, the world found out and the secret is on everyone's lips and being pointed at. In fact, if you want to keep a secret, you must also hide it from yourself, because three persons may keep a secret, if two of them are dead.

"And the internet is hungry for the meanest kinda funny
And somebody's gotta feed it"

But things shouldn't be taken too seriously; that's how it is when it happens for the first time, especially since you can be happy not necessarily because of love but for other reasons, like being so skinny, for example. - skinny girls thinking!

"People say I look happy
Just because I got skinny"

The conclusion comes naturally: any woman is beautiful if she's skinny and can poke you with her bones. Hit me hard and soft.

"But the old me is still me and maybe the real me
And I think she's pretty"

There is no truth saying 'beauty comes in all shapes and sizes' And I think Billie reaches this conclusion at the end of the song as well.

"Oh, do you still cry?
Still cry
Cry
I nеver did you wrong (Never did you wrong)
And my (Oh), my patiеnce is gone (Is gone)"

The truth is skinny girls look good in clothes, never naked chicks. I'm not going to dinner with somebody who eats like a bird, nor do I want to eat like a bird. Its important to remind young women, 'Listen, even skinny girls have cellulite, even Billie Eilish has cellulite, and what you see in photos isn't totally real.'

American Idol Who Sings Glorious:

eras tour surprise song
If you've been a fan of Taylor for a while, you'll know that she always includes a surprise song or two in her tour set lists.  For this American Idol who sings glorious, the tradition goes all the way back to the World Tour, where she included the surprise covers she performed during that era.

In Stockholm, Sweden (May 19), the eras tour surprise song was "Message in a bottle"

It seems to me that in this song, we encounter a great enigma, namely what kind of bottle is being referred to. One full that we drink together and at the end discover a message, or an empty one into which we push a small scroll of paper on which we write a love poem or a cry for help.

Naturally, each option comes with a different mystery. In the first case, what is the beverage that fosters communion and deciphering messages, and in the second, what is the ocean or sea that separates us or on which we each wander separately?

It occurs to me that we allow ourselves to imagine only such messages as we need to survive.

If at some point London is brought into discussion, I would tie the subject to the Black Dog bar. Besides the fact that both occurrences seem to develop in the same city, it appears that in each song, there's talk of a message someone is waiting for or doesn't know they should seek.

“Why do so many people start their messages with, "It's me"? Of course it is you. We all know that. But who the hell ARE you?” This is the mission of eras tour surprise song to reveal us.

But the singer conforms to trends and confesses according to the template:

"I know that you like me
And it's kinda frightenin'
Standing here waitin', waitin'
And I became hypnotized
By freckles and bright eyes
Tongue tied"

Follows the location so we know exactly where we are transported by the eras tour surprise song:

"But now
You're so far away and I'm down
Feelin' like a face in the crowd
I'm reachin' for you, terrified"

And then why resort to this means of communication, namely the message in a bottle:

"'Cause you could be the one that I love
I could be the one that you dream of
Message in a bottle is all I can do
Standin' here, hopin' it gets to you (it gets to you)"

The conclusion of American Idol who sings glorious, is that a disaster awaits us:

"These days I'm restless
Work days are endless
Look how you've made me, made me
But time moves faster
Replaying your laughter
Disaster"

Even with all our technology and the inventions that make modern life so much easier than it once was, it takes just one big natural disaster to wipe all that away and remind us that, here on Earth, we're still at the mercy of nature.

Taylor Swift Guilty As Sin in Concert May Stockholm

American Idol song lyrics
Taylor Swift performed “Guilty As Sin?” " for the first time during one of his concerts on the Eras tour. In fact, the concert on May 18, 2024, in Stockholm, was the 89th concert of the tour because the number 89 holds special significance for the American idol. So, to celebrate the occasion by Sweden, the pop legend had a few surprises during the set.

Biggest surprise was "Guilty As Sin".

What's the song lyrics about?

You won't believe it. It's about tattoos, what else?

Tattoos are like stories - they're symbolic of the important moments in your life.

"I'm seeing visions, am I bad?
Or mad? Or wise?"

Of course, some of tattoos are a bit silly, but you never know where and what time you got them. This is the question!

"What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh
Only in my mind?
One slip and falling back into the hedge maze
Oh what a way to die
I keep recalling things we never did"

I expected it to also be about pyramids or at least a famous pharaoh. After all, the song begins on the banks of the Blue Nile, which invariably flows towards the great sea. Along the way, it passes by the wonders of the world, to which it cannot remain indifferent.

But what I think is one thing and what actually happens is another.

"How can I be guilty as sin?
What if I roll the stone away?
They're gonna crucify me anyway
What if the way you hold me
Is actually what's holy?
If long suffering propriety
Is what they want from me
They don't know how you've haunted me
So stunningly
I choose you and me"

The Taylor Swift's choice is simple and with no doubts. There is also a very important reason.

"My bedsheets are ablaze"

Then everything flows naturally on song lyrics and without too many Eras tour complications. And pleasantly, like a sin.

"There's no such thing as bad thoughts
Only your actions talk
These fatal fantasies
Giving way to labored breath
Taking all of me
We've already done it in my head"

Maybe that's why Swift's fans noticed a mark on the singer's neck. Could Travis be the sinner during the Lake Como trip?

Sweden: “gold rush” for Stockholm with Taylor Swift

Gold Rush lyrics
If I think about Taylor Swift's concerts in Sweden as part of the Eras Tour, two things come to mind: Stockholm Syndrome and the song "Gold Rush."

It's difficult and delicate to talk about Stockholm Syndrome, especially in such special conditions as these. No one is forcing Taylor Swift's fans to attend the concert. That they succumb to their passion and become dependent on her music is their choice, but there is no pressure on them. It's just an offer they can consider or not.

As for "Gold Rush," lyrics  here is a love story. I don't know between whom, but one side is chasing the other and declares they are quite tired of this effort, especially since there are no visible results.

The singer herself confesses the disappointment:

"I call you out on your contrarian shit
And the coastal town
We wandered 'round had never"

The positive thing is that she doesn't drown her pain in alcohol but settles for a tea that has already turned gray with age.
"Seen a love as pure as it
And then it fades into the gray of my day old tea"

My frustration is that I listened the song lyrics multiple times and couldn't figure out if she drank that tea or not. It seems the only one at an advantage was the merchant who sold the tea. In fact, an old saying goes that during the gold rush, most miners lost money, but those who sold them pickaxes, shovels, tents, and jeans made a nice profit. And here the story repeats itself.

The temptation is great, everyone is focused on the subject:
"Everybody wants you
Everybody wonders what it would be like to love you"

It's unclear if the effort is worth it despite the attraction, even the singer confesses:
"Everybody wants you
What must it be like
To grow up that beautiful?"
But I don't like a gold rush"

However, the abandonment doesn't seem absolute; maybe a small attempt is worth it. You never know, maybe this time things will fit:
"On waters so inviting
I almost jump in"

Every time I listen this song, I start wonder myself: Did she jump in or not? Probably, I must drink an old gray tea to find it.

Why are my calls failing

I sometimes like to listen to the song
"Why They Call It Failling"

In fact, the title of the song is a question that repeats several times in the lyrics, and I always hope to find the answer each time I listen to the song.

I believe that the singer faces the same problem, otherwise, I don't see why she would insist on this issue, mobilizing the entire choir to help her.

"So why they call it failing?
Why they call it failing?
Why they call it failing?
I don't know."

You see?  It is almost as "why are my calls failing" Although there are so many people around, no one is able to offer an explanation, even though it is visibly clear that the difference between standing up and falling down is actually staggering.

The singer sometimes tries to count on her fingers, suggesting various options:
"It's like a knife
Through the heart
It's a hole
It's a cave
It's kind of like a grave
When he tells you that he's found somebody new."

The big misfortune in finding out what interests us is that the melody line returns to the chorus, and the questions to which no answer has yet been found start again. This doesn't mean that we are completely detached from the philosophical interpretation of the phenomenon, although there seems to be a slightly negative, even fatalistic, tone:

"But you can't live your life
Walking in the clouds
Sooner or later
You have to come down."

The song ends, it can be hummed further, and the problem we started with is still standing because I can't understand how I didn't think of this answer myself.

The lyrics even say it's nothing else but a trifle:
"It's like someone takes a pin to your balloon."

This makes me realize why pop songs aren't as long as an opera. Opera complicates things, bringing too many people on stage, each with their own opinions, while a pop song goes straight to the point, even if it pretends for a minute or two that it doesn't solve the problem. Surely, this fumbling is just so the song doesn't end too quickly and seem trivial and easy.

The very song singer confirms my opinion regarding why are my calls failing, She, finally, knows.

"And why they call it failing
Why they call it failing
Why they call it failing
Now I know."

Will They Get Married? Blank space waiting a name

will they get married
On Sunday May 12, Taylor Swift captivated her audience, of more than 40,000 spectators, during her last concert in the French capital, on the occasion of her European Eras Tour.

Her boyfriend Travis Kelce was seated, in the La Defense Arena VIP stand, alongside model Gigi Hadid and actor Bradley Cooper, having big fun while singing to the song “Blank space”.

Starting my personal comment, I think this song is a declaration of love

Even more worthy of consideration is the fact that during the concert both Taylor and Travis sing. She on stage, he in the VIP stand. In fact, they sing for each other. The same lyrics. Basically, they do nothing but declare a deep love. Their fans ask themselves how soon will they get married.

Each admits that they leave behind a long list of lovers, only now it's completely different, both are crazy because they love the players, but most importantly, because they love the game

"Be my King", "Be my Queen" they shout to each other. This time "it's gonna be forever / Or it's gonna go down in flames" This is the Eras Tour conclusion.

History is full of blank spaces, but good stories, invariably, are not. Every piece of art in the world was once a blank space that someone chose to fill with inspiration, imagination, fear, obsession, logic, love, or passion.

"Got a long list of ex-lovers
They'll tell you I'm insane
But I've got a blank space, baby
And I'll write your name"

As a finall comment related on Eras Tour performance, blank space can be humbling. But it's also true we do face it our whole life. It is not like a simple job. It's also a real calling.

Bottom line regarding Taylor -Travis messages: Filling this blank space constitutes a new identity.

Will Travis and Taylor Get Married?

Changing partner part of biological life cycle

black dog lyrics
Serious researchers have demonstrated that if you listen to a song, one of the following three things can happen: you pay attention to the melody without caring about the lyrics, or you focus on the lyrics without caring about the melody, or you pay attention to both the lyrics and the melody without being interested in either of them. And this happens because tortured poets department anthology is part of biological life cycle

I don't know in which of the situations mentioned above I listened to the song 'The Black Dog Bar' created by pop megastar Taylor Swift (The Anthology), but I can share the outcome of this adventure with you, an experience related to tortured poets department. Let's see my performance:

From the very beginning, things seemed to have a clear anthology
I was the one sharing secrets with you.
But that only happened until the moment when
you forgot to update your whereabouts
and left me alone
in a place where the absolute master was a black dog
and you, my partner,
instead of protecting me,
grabbed a drill from under the table
and started poking holes in my heart.
(By the way, what an ugly and loathsome habit!)

But what I can't understand
is why you ignore the black dog.
I can accept you being indifferent to me
but what has the dog done to deserve such enmity from you?

Accidentally,
someone nearby plays or hops on one foot
failing to do anything.
because he's young and inexperienced
and can only emit screams
that attract attention.

My heart, full of holes,
is now deeply shattered by unspoken yearnings.
I would like to open it again for you,
but it's impossible because there's nothing left of it,
just the holes and the drill.
It is also part of biological life cycle.

It was sheer madness
not to miss me in the shower.
I am still serious
and I would need a courageous partner
as envisioned in well-laid plans,
but my rain-soaked body
longs for a true smoke
while the one from the previous song stanza
continues to jump up on its own
and emits shrill screams.

To get out of this dirty mess
I started burning all the clothes,
only the tragic weave of our dreams remained
lost in suffocating
and foul-smelling smoke.
I think that's why the dog left too,
even though it was black,
it tucked its tail between its legs
and willingly entered an esoteric anthology.

The Anthology of black dog lyrics says all's fair in love and poetry

The Alchemy: Is this a story about Travis Kelce?

double album the tortured poets department
“The Tortured Poets Department (TTDP)" is a secret double album, posted Taylor Swift who became a global megastar overnight. Two hours later, 15 other titles appeared by magic, panicking the “Swifties”, her many fans. In less than 24 hours, the Anthology  became the most listened to this double album in one day in Spotify history, the platform announced.

Taylor Swift explained: “I've written a lot of tortured poetry over the last two years and I wanted to share it all with you, so here is the second part of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 additional songs. And now the story no longer belongs to me… it’s all yours.”

However, it's unclear who Taylor Swift is singing about, as she goes on to reference a lover from her past. "'Cause the sign on your heart said it's still reserved for me", and then Taylor opens up about this relationship, describing the dopamine rush created by the state of love and singing "who are we honestly, to fight alchemy?"

Honestly? (to be or not to be Tortured Poets Department double album)

Everything around happens because of an intentionally reserved sign for a certain person. The author of the text is absolutely right to wonder herself who we are to spread all that is known about alchemy. Amateurs must eliminate themselves with no doubt; there is no point in standing in the way of truth. The main concern is the path towards the crown freed from the hands of the clowns. Other thaughts on double album anthology just warm the benches

It looks like an important person is about to make a spectacular comeback! If s/he is telling us s/he has  returned, s/he is probably expecting it to be like a superhero returning to duty after an unpleasant hospital stay or a long absence. But I still wonder, did s/he at least makes a circle on the map before the came back? Not that I'm worried, but it's good to know where to find the important things in case another hospital break is  or if  s/he takes another long stroll around the world. Be carefull on the alchemy that could be dangerous for tortured poets department.

But the author of the lyrics doesn't leave things tangled. She looks the interviewed person straight in the eye and addresses him with precise questions. Well, it seems like you're about to make a triumphant re-entry into the ring of life!

"Hey you, what would you say if I told you we're strong?" - it seems to be the speech of a leader returning with an outstretched hand, ready to forgive all the "childish games" from school and to restore peace and harmony in his kingdom. Well, it's good to know that you've come back, because the world needs more laughter and less school drama! And, to be honest, this is a right reason indeed.

Once the problem is clear, all the chemistry gathers around us like a fountain of white and frothy wine

A new coup for the 34-year-old singer, who knew how to use social networks to create a feeling of intimacy with her audience, but also to keep them in suspense. An anthology of new works that reflect the events, opinions and feelings of a fleeting, fatalistic moment – one that was both sensational and sad in equal measure. No certain sign related to Travis Kelce, tortured poets
