Butterfly Crazy Town after the passing of singer

butterfly crazy town
“Butterfly” is, quite simply, a love song. And although no names were mentioned, it was addressed to the (then) girlfriend of Shifty Shellshock, the lead singer of Butterfly Crazy Town. We know this because she was actually the one who inspired him to conceptualize music when he was tired of her hard-rock ways. And he responded to the situation by writing a track directly about it, that being Butterfly Crazy Town. In fact, Shellshock referring to her as his "butterfly" comes from the fact that this lady was actually a collector of these insects.

But despite its innocent title, this song is not what you would call a family love song. Indeed, one of the things the singer admires most about her sweetheart is her sensual appeal. And at times, he makes it a point to be painfully specific on this issue.

"Such a sexy, sexy pretty little thing
Fierce nipple pierce, you got me sprung with your tongue ring
And I ain't gonna lie 'cause your loving gets me high"

Sex appeal alone is the poorest basis in the world for a happy marriage. You should know, If you're given a choice between money and sex appeal, take the money. As you get older, the money will become your sex appeal.

"I don't deserve you, unless it's some kind of hidden message
To show me life is precious
Then I guess it's true
But to tell truth, I really never knew
'Til I met you, see, I was lost and confused
Twisted and used up"

So despite deviating from their normal sound by dropping a romantic track (which is now considered their signature song), you can say that Butterfly Crazy Town have stayed true to their roots. This is to say that it is truly a love song with the singer recognizing the monumental and uplifting impact that the presence of his loved one had on his life.

"Come my lady, come-come my lady
You're my butterfly, sugar baby
Come my lady, you're my pretty baby
I'll make your legs shake
You make me go crazy"

But at the same time, there is also what can be described as an element of lyrical shock, specifically of the sensual variety, which is more suited to mature listeners.

A recent medical survey in the United States showed that 75% of young American women are without strong sexual feeling and instead of satisfying their libido they seek pleasure narcissistically in exhibitionism, vanity, and the cult of fitness and health in a sterile sense.
